No Hablo Espanol.

Dónde está el más cercano partido?

sunny 19 °C

Ola,

I am in the south of spain its very exciting, tomorrow i will be on the first ferry to Morocco and hopefully in Rabat with an internet friend by tomorrow afternoon having a barbecue with the volunteer medical workers etc that are there (woo)

I have a new japanese friend who is coming with me, thank god because i was very worried about it, and he even speaks a fair bit of spanish which is making life easier at the moment. He was reading when we were having dinner tonight and he put a fish head from his plate into his mouth thinking it was bread.. haha i was laughing so hard you should have seen his face when it actually connected with his mouth. LOL.

I can´t upload any pictures anywhere (i think they are scared my usb will give them a virus) which is sad because i have been getting some happy snaps, and also taking a lot of useless photos (i took about ten out the plane window).

Spain has been pretty fun, of course I had a bit of a spazz out when I got to the airport (what is the hand signal you do for toilet!!!) I think i spent over an hour in the cafe at the airport figuring out exactly the phrases i was going to need to get to the hostel and practised them about a hundred times, then freaked out under the pressure of the moment and spoke english anyway. Then i almost got run over because I was looking in the wrong direction for cars coming, I did not know they drove on the wrong side of the road here. Everyone here is soooo friendly it is a big contrast to London and they get excited when you try to speak Spanish. We had a guy teaching us spanish for 4 hours on the train today, not that i can remember.

I haven´t actually seen very much of Spain because so far i have moved cities every day (i have seen lots out the window). I think I have "if you are a male, in particular Arabic or African, please come harass me" tattooed on my head. Sooo Morocco is going to be err.. fun. I am glad I have Satoshi coming with me. I have been meeting heaps of cool people (many, many aussies) and learning the hard way how to speak spanish. And, finding out that¨"heaps" is a word that only people from south australia say. There are hot guys everywhere you look and they have really cool accents. French canadian is my favourite accent so far. Oh, maybe Romanian, but only because he was really cute too.

I had better go I am about to sink some Spanish beers (and maybe have Tapas) with my new friend before we crash out for our early start tomorrow. I am going to be hiding my hair under a hat for the next week!

Adios Amigos.

Rocking it in London

Brrrrrr

rain 2 °C

Well, I am in London and it is soooo different to what I pictured. I can't even work out what it is that I was expecting, but its soooooo big. Everyone walks really fast and looks really shitty all the time lol. And, there are australians everywhere. I have literally met more Aussies than English people so far.

My flight ended up being about 30hours all up (including the 2hr stop in singapore that i didnt even know about) and I managed to sleep for about 8 hrs thanks to my good friend Zanex. I can't believe how well requesting an exit seat worked out. You get about a metre of leg room in front of you, you're right next to the bathroom and you get cool pop up screens to watch movies etc. AND you dont even have to move when the person next to you gets up. It was great I was loving life. They usually reserve the exit seats for people over 6 foot 5 so I was sitting next to some massive guy perth -> singapore who was telling me all about his testosterone deficiency and how he is on hormone replacement therapy - ummm yes thats fantastic, and a very strange thing to be telling a stranger. Haha. Hehehe.

I'm staying right in the middle of London its wicked.

Everyone told me that thievery would be a problem but not so far. In actual fact, I have been managing to lose things without any assistance from others. I have also gain a hat, it is really cool I will send a photo when I find my cord. I can't believe how stylish everyone here is in the cold - I might as well have TOURIST tattooed on my forehead.

Last night we TRIED to go out, but got a little lost and didnt get to the club till 2am. EVERYTHING in london is closed by 3am, apart from convenience stores its rediculous. Even clubs in adelaide are open later than that! We did however get lost on the London bus network and spend around 2 hrs getting home.

Its Emilys birthday tomorrow so we are going out to party, probably at Ministry of Sound, Fabric or Gatecrasher. How exciting.

Oh no my time is almost out, Ciao
